TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC (“Transco”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Williams (NYSE: WMB), announced today that it is offering senior notes to certain institutional investors. The notes will be offered pursuant to certain exemptions from registration under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”).Transco intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund the redemption of all $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of its 7.850% Senior Notes due 2026 and to pay associated fees and expenses. Any excess net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment of other near-term debt maturities.The offering of the notes has not been registered under the Securities Act or applicable state securities laws.
