The Aldi South Group, one of Aldi's two global divisions, is testing a new store format for its U.S. locations. Trials for the new format initially began in September 2025 in Aventura, Florida, with further trials expected in 2026 "The initiative, developed in partnership with Australian-based Landini Associates , marks the culmination of a 14-year collaboration aimed at modernizing Aldi's physical retail presence while preserving the operational simplicity that underpins its low-price strategy," Forbes said.
