Halo Dreams Inc. recalled about 45,000 sleepsuits on Thursday, March 5, after it was found that the zipper head on the suit was detachable, creating a potential choking hazard for infants who wore the suits, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission report. As of March 6, 15 reports have been filed of the zipper head coming off the suit, but no injuries were reported. The Halo Dream brand is sold in a variety of retail vendors, including Walmart and Target, and online stores like Amazon. Halo Dreams also recalled a product in 2022 due to another potential choking hazard: a child's flashlight was recalled due to a potential battery ingestion from the flashlight, leading to choking.
