The big news this week is that with the government shutdown finally over, the tax world was (mostly) getting back to normal. The IRS is back to work (you can read more about the status of processing returns and returning correspondences a little further down in the newsletter) and that includes issuing more guidance, including on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).
