According to Xcel Energy , an outage in the North Loop neighborhood, near the baseball venue, started shortly before 2 p.m. and is impacting 1,540 people. Crews have since responded and the company expects power in the area to be restored by 3:15 p.m. Staff at Target Field told WCCO that people were stuck in elevators as a result of the outage. The Twins said in a social media post that pregame ceremonies are delayed until power is restored.
