Xunlei: Stock Continues To Lack Near-Term Catalysts - Hold [Seeking Alpha]

GAAP results were negatively impacted by the reduced fair market value of the company's stake in panoramic camera market leader Arashi Vision, better known as Insta360. Xunlei continues to trade at a steep discount to NAV as investors grapple with the timing of a potential special dividend following the anticipated monetization of the Arashi Vision stake. The recent sale of a majority stake in the fast-growing cloud computing business at a rather low price and lack of forward guidance aren't suited to instill confidence in management. Given the lack of near-term catalysts and uncertainties regarding the potential monetization of the company's stake in Arashi Vision, I am reiterating my "Hold" rating on XNET stock.
