Orders are improving, especially in Motion Control, but auto sector sluggishness and rising competition from China, Korea, and Taiwan pose risks. EBITDA margins should recover to the mid-teens, but improved mix and further operating efficiency are needed for a more bullish stance. Yaskawa's commitment to industrial robotics made it a latecomer in cobots and threatens to leave it behind with humanoid robots as well.
