NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C. is investigating potential claims on behalf of ZAIS Group Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZAIS) stockholders concerning the proposed acquisition of the company by Z Acquisition LLC. Our investigation concerns whether ZAIS’s board of directors failed to adequately shop the company and obtain the best possible value for its stockholders before entering into a definitive merger agreement with Z Acquisition, an entity was formed by ZAIS’ CIO and Chairman of the Board, Christian Zugel, and other members of the purchaser group as a special-purpose vehicle for the primary purpose of entering into the Share Purchase Agreement and the merger agreement.
