(NYSE: ZAYO) has been selected by a major news broadcaster to provide a managed video network. The diverse fiber network will enable the customer to disseminate video and data to its bureaus in the U.S. and Europe. Managed by Zayo Media Networks and supported by its dedicated video network control center (VNCC) with 24x7x365 monitored video support, Zayo is uniquely positioned to deliver high availability live video products.Increasingly broadcasters, content providers, over-the-top (OTT) platforms and multichannel video programming distributors (MVPDs) are moving to terrestrial fiber networks that provide increased bandwidth and lower latency than satellite.
