Related news Zebra Technologies ( ZBRA ), a maker of enterprise asset-tracking systems, on Tuesday missed Wall Street's sales target for the first quarter due to business disruptions from the coronavirus pandemic. But better-than-expected earnings pushed ZBRA stock higher. The Lincolnshire, Ill.-based company earned an adjusted $2.67 a share on sales of $1.05 billion in the March quarter. Analysts expected Zebra Technologies earnings of $2.64 a share on revenue of $1.07 billion. On a year-over-year basis, Zebra earnings fell 9% while sales dipped 1%. "The year started off strong for Zebra, yet late in the first quarter, Covid-19 developed into a global pandemic and we experienced global supply chain disruptions, as well as weaker-than-expected demand in China," Chief Executive Anders Gustafsson said in a news release .
