I see little upside from the current level, assuming a $20/share buyout target. In my view, deteriorating shipping fundamentals justify a buyout. The oversupply issue is likely to persist until the end of the decade, and the Red Sea route could reopen. ZIM's Q3 2025 showed continued signs of deterioration, with revenue down 35.7% YOY. Valuation looks low (5.9x forward P/E and 0.6x 1-year forward P/B), but the Street's expectations for double-digit revenue declines over the next four quarters explain the discount.
