World Trade Center Utah announced Friday it would be appointing Nate Callister, president and CEO of Zions Bank, to its board of directors. In a statement sent to the Deseret News, WTC said Zions Bank has been a crucial partner for trade finance, risk-management solutions and banking infrastructure which has helped Utah businesses grow from local successes to global operations. Callister, who also serves as an executive vice president of Zions Bancorporation, brings more than 25 years of commercial banking leadership experience, which includes his time as head of commercial and corporate banking at Zions. “Nate brings deep experience in banking and community leadership, and a strong understanding of the role global trade plays in Utah's economy,” Jonathan Freedman, president and CEO of WTC Utah, said in a statement. “We look forward to working alongside him and continuing our partnership with Zions Bank to expand opportunities for Utah businesses.” The current chair of WTC Ut
