Apple Inc. has seen considerable success with its AirPods earphones and now the company is looking to make high-end over-the-ear wireless headphones to add to its product lineup, according to a Bloomberg report Thursday. The story, which cites multiple unnamed sources, said that the headphones would have "interchangeable parts" and come in a leather variation as well as a "fitness-focused model." The headphones have a "retro look" and are meant to allow for user customization similar to what consumers can do with their Apple Watches, the report said. Apple declined to comment in the Bloomberg story. Apple shares are up 1.3% in premarket trading Thursday. The stock has fallen 9.8% over the past three months as the Dow Jones Industrial Average has declined 20%.
