(Nasdaq: ALT), a late clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing pemvidutide to address serious liver diseases, today announced the pricing of its previously announced underwritten public offering consisting of (i) 64,250,000 shares of its common stock and accompanying common stock warrants to purchase an aggregate of 64,250,000 shares of common stock (or pre-funded warrants in lieu thereof) and (ii) in lieu of common stock, to certain investors that so choose, pre-funded warrants to purchase an aggregate of up to 10,750,000 shares of its common stock and accompanying common stock warrants to purchase an aggregate of 10,750,000 shares of common stock (or pre-funded warrants in lieu thereof), at an exercise price of $0.001 per pre-funded warrant.
