Davidson upgraded the chipmaker to Buy from Neutral and lifted its price target to $375 from $220. The firm said AMD may benefit from a structural rise in CPU demand tied to agentic artificial intelligence, according to a Friday analyst note. Warning! Analyst Gil Luria said Intel's stronger-than-expected results pointed to tighter CPU supply as data-center spending expands. Davidson also said AMD may be able to raise prices across its portfolio and defend margins if demand keeps running ahead of supply. The call comes ahead of AMD's March-quarter results, due May 5, and follows a sharp rally in the stock as investors reassess the company's role in the broader data-center buildout.
