ASML Holding N.V. (NASDAQ:ASML) announced record fourth-quarter bookings of €13.2 billion, significantly above the average analyst expectation of €6.85 billion, as reported by Bloomberg on January 28, 2026. This was due to the demand for innovative chipmaking equipment utilized in AI infrastructure. Extreme ultraviolet lithography equipment accounted for more than half of all reservations, totaling €7.4 billion. Based on management, clients expressed a more optimistic medium-term prognosis linked to ongoing AI demand, which is reflected in plans for extra capacity. The corporation projected 2026 revenue to be €34 billion-€39 billion, exceeding previous projections, and reported total net sales of €32.7 billion in 2025.
