Bloomin' Brands, Inc., Outback's parent company, revealed plans to close more than 40 restaurants as part of its efforts to strengthen the brand's financial performance in a Q3 earnings report “I am excited to announce our turnaround strategy, with a focus on the Outback Steakhouse brand,” Mike Spanos, Bloomin' Brands CEO, said in a statement.
