America is celebrating its 250th anniversary , or semiquincentennial , in 2026, and Steak 'n Shake is honoring the anniversary with a new dessert item. The burger chain said on its social media platforms that throughout January, it is offering a "Patriot Milkshake" for just $2.50. No further information about the milkshake was provided; however, a photo shared by the company shows a milkshake adorned with whipped cream and a cherry, with additional red, white, and blue sprinkles. "Steak n Shake is getting a head start on America's 250th anniversary of its founding," the company said on Instagram. "All January, our Patriot Milkshake will be priced at only $2.50 ????."
