Deutsche Bank Notes “Widespread Pressures,” Cuts Clorox (CLX) Price Outlook On March 30, Deutsche Bank lowered its price recommendation on The Clorox Company (NYSE:CLX) to $101 from $112. It reiterated a Hold rating on the shares. The firm pointed to “legitimate and widespread pressures building” across much of the consumer packaged goods industry, tied to the conflict in the Middle East. The analyst noted that stocks in the space underperformed in March. Cost inflation remained a concern, and there were also signs of potential demand destruction from trade-down, along with unfavorable currency movements, according to the research note.
