Chipotle is just one of many restaurants focusing on protein , and on Jan. 13, they a re looking to give you more protein for free. The restaurant chain is offering an extra scoop of protein – free of charge – to Chipotle Rewards members on "one of the most popular days to work out." According to Chipotle, customers can pair the offer with a bowl, burrito or salad order. In addition to the "free double protein offer," Chipotle Mexican Grill recently introduced a "High Protein Menu" in late December so customers could get "protein they want in the portions that work for them, whether that is a lighter bite or a more substantial build." "With clean protein being a pillar of our core menu, our restaurants have long been popular destinations for athletes and gym-goers to refuel," Stephanie Perdue, Vice President of Brand Marketing, said in a statement.
