International Exchange Drops $25B on OKX, a Big Bet on Tokenized Markets - Moby THE GIST Jeffrey Sprecher just dropped $25 billion on OKX, a spot crypto exchange with 120 million accounts, meaningful global market share, and a $504 million DOJ guilty plea that's about six months old. Wall Street sent ICE down roughly 1.25% on the news, which feels about right for a market that hasn't fully decided whether to treat crypto infrastructure plays as visionary or reckless. Sprecher isn't buying OKX's track record. He's buying its data, its volume, and its position in a future where tokenized capital markets run around the clock and someone needs to be the trusted adult in the room.
