The tech billionaire founded Dell Technologies in 1984 as a premed student at UT Austin, but dropped out before his sophomore year. Dell spoke with CNBC about how AI can fit into health care and his hopes for Austin's health-care system. In this article Michael and Susan Dell announced Tuesday that they have committed $750 million to the University of Texas at Austin that will fund the development of a new medical center and research campus.
