Six Flags is selling seven amusement parks across the U.S. and Canada for $331 million, including Valleyfair in Shakopee , the company announced Thursday. The new owner, EPR Properties, can use the Six Flags brand through the end of 2026 and plans to partner with Enchanted Parks to run Valleyfair and the other U.S. parks, which are expected to continue operating as normal this year without a significant impact to visitors. All season passes that have already been sold will be recognized throughout the 2026 season, including multi-park pass privileges at other parks within the Six Flags' portfolio, according to the announcement.
