The Italian sports car maker said in a Monday, Feb. 9 press release that its new electric vehicle would be named the Luce, which the company said means "light" or "illumination" in Italian. Ferrari said the name "signifies the brand's unwavering focus on the future and new naming strategy for an important addition to the Ferrari range." The company said that in the new EV's interior design, "every element deeply considered to enable functional, intuitive interactions and a thrilling driver experience." How much is the Ferrari Luce expected to cost? Ferrari has not released a manufacturer's suggested retail prices for Luce yet. The vehicle is expected to be priced somewhere between $500,000 and $600,000, according to the website Carvira.com Who designed the Ferrari Luce? Ferrari said it has been collaborating with the creative collective known as the LoveFrom, which was founded by Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson, "for five years on every dimension of the new car's design."
