Deliveries of electric vehicles (EVs) plunged 69% from a year ago to just 1,743 units. This is because fewer people wanted them and Ford had to change how it made them because of its changing electric strategy. Sales of hybrids fell by 6.1% to 12,485 units, and sales of gas-powered cars fell by 2.3%. Car sales went up 50% because Ford updated several of its smaller models, but it wasn't enough to make up for the drops in SUVs and trucks, which fell 2% and 9.2%, respectively.
