More than 840,000 vehicles are being recalled by Ford, according to a notice posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over problems with the review camera. The recall for the two Ford models is due to a fault in the cars' accessory protocol interface module, which the notice says can overheat and shut down, preventing the "rearview camera image from displaying as intended." "A rearview camera that fails to display an image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash," the recall notice continued Here's what to know about the recall.
