The recall applies to certain Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks in the model years 2025-2026, according to a posted March 3 on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website. The driveshafts of the recalled vehicles may separate, causing a loss of power while driving, effectively increasing the risk of a crash. If the driveshaft separates, drivers may hear a loud popping noise, according to the recall notice. The issue can be remedied by having the vehicles inspected and replacing the driveshaft, the recall notice said. Here's what to know about the Ford pickup truck recall.
