BOTHELL, Wash., November 19, 2025 BUSINESS WIRE FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc. , a global leader in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) solutions, announces the launch of PIV Assist, a new AI-powered feature designed to assist clinicians in planning peripheral intravenous (PIV) access procedures. The feature will be available on Sonosite LX, Sonosite PX, and Sonosite ST ultrasound systems. "Peripheral IV procedures are among the most common performed on patients, and growing evidence supports ultrasound-guided insertion as a helpful technique, especially for those with difficult IV access ," said Richard Fabian, president and CEO of FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc.
