The company removed park president positions at all 27 amusement parks in the chain last May. “These changes are about putting leadership, expertise and accountability as close to our guests and team members as possible,” Six Flags CEO John Reilly said in a statement. “We're empowering our teams to move faster, innovate locally, and deliver exceptional experiences every day.” After decades of thrills, California's Great America could close after 2027 season Reilly continued saying the goal is to “consistently deliver the best possible guest and team member experience across all parks” and that the company is confident the new leaders will “unlock the full potential” of each property.
