locally grown herbs and plants, many of which are essential ingredients infused into well-known spa treatments. Some of these include the well-known healing properties of Grenada's national symbol – the nutmeg, aromatic cinnamon and locally-grown organic chocolate. The volcanic soil is perfectly suited for producing restorative clays used in wraps and masks. The island is also surrounded by tropical oceans where sea life abounds, and spas harness some of the organic elements found there. For example, Spice Island Beach Resort uses those ingredients in their signature seaweed wraps at their Janissa spa. Spice Island Beach Resort Spice Island Beach Resort is family owned and run.
