The Detroit automaker said it sold 626,429 vehicles in the first quarter of 2026 across its full lineup, down 9.7% from last year. While some of its most popular vehicles did well, their electrified models did not. Here are the production models that sold the most and least number of vehicles over the quarter. GM's top selling vehicles The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was General Motors' top-selling vehicle in the first quarter. The light duty Chevrolet Silverado was GM's top selling vehicle in the first quarter, with the automaker selling 84,401 pickups, an 8% lift. GM sold 61,398 Chevrolet Equinox vehicles, down 13% from last year's first quarter. GM sold 51,857 new light duty GMC Sierra pickup trucks, down 2% from last year at this time.
