The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued multiple recalls for vehicles last week, including notices for over 400,000 Volvo vehicles. Here's what you need to know about the vehicle recalls published by NHTSA from Jan. 5 to Jan. 11. Volvo vehicles recalled for faulty back-up displays Volvo recalled certain vehicles across a range of models due to an issue with the rearview camera image, which may not appear when the car is in reverse. The recall report describes the cause of the failure as a "camera image rendering failure, camera link setup, and software system performance." The recalled cars include: 2025 Volvo EC40 2022-2024 Volvo C40BEV 2025 Volvo EX40 2021-2025 Volvo XC40 2023
