it sold a total of 108,162 vehicles in the US in February 2026, up by 1.1% year-on-year despite “the impact of major winter storms in the Northeast” of the country during the month. The company said it enjoyed “balanced” sales of SUVs, passenger cars, and electrified models. Sales under the Honda brand rose by 0.6% to 97,226 units last month, underpinned by record sales of hybrid-electric models and strong demand for SUVs and passenger cars. The company said it sold 30,671 hybrid versions of the CR-V, Accord, and Civic models, along with 515 units of the newly launched Prelude hybrid sports coupe. A further 10,936 vehicles were sold under the company's upmarket Acura brand, representing a 17% year-on-year rise, including 8,800 SUVs. In the first two months of 2026, American Honda reported a 1.5% sales increase to 206,756 units, including a 0.6% increase in Honda-branded sales to 186,801 units and an almost 11% increase in sales under the Acura brand to 19,955 units.
