ORANGE, Conn., December 18, 2025 BUSINESS WIRE )--Avangrid, Inc., a leading energy company and member of the Iberdrola Group, today announced that its utility companies, New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E), Central Maine Power (CMP) and United Illuminating (UI), have coordinated comprehensive preparations for the 2025-2026 winter storm season. In addition to these actions to prepare for winter storm response, the companies are sharing guidance for customers to stay safe, warm, and manage their energy costs. "Preparing for winter storms and severe weather is at the very core of our mission and commitment to our customers," said Avangrid CEO Jose Antonio Miranda .
