commenced an exchange offer (the “Offer”) involving its Series C Non-Convertible Redeemable Preferred Stock (the “Series C Preferred Stock”) identified in the Prospectus/Consent Solicitation/Offer to Exchange (as defined below) in connection with Enzon's previously announced merger with Viskase Companies, Inc. (“Viskase”). What's Being Offered Enzon is offering all holders of outstanding shares of Series C Preferred Stock the chance to exchange their shares for shares of Enzon's common stock, par value $0.01 per share (the “Common Stock”).
