The company launched its Core Ultra Series 3 processors. Management noted the processors feature the first compute platform built on Intel 18A, which is the most advanced semiconductor process developed in the United States. Intel's 18A process technology powers more than 200 designs from leading global partners. The latest Series 3 is expected to be the most broadly adopted AI PC platform. Moreover, the Core Ultra Series 3 will also include Intel Core Ultra X9 and X7 processors and Intel Core processors. Management noted that pre-orders for the first laptop powered by Series 3 will begin on January 6, 2026. That said, following the launch of the new series on December 5, Ben Reitzes from Melius Research upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy with a $50 price target. The analyst likes Intel Corporation's (NASDAQ:INTC) relationship building and noted that companies, including Nvidia and Apple, are expected to adopt Intel's upcoming 14A node process by 2027/2028.
