Oil prices continued soaring Friday, putting them on track to record their biggest jump since early 2020 as the escalating threatens global energy supplies.U.S. crude oil spiked more than 9% in early trading to more than $91 per barrel, its highest price since October 2023.Brent, the international oil benchmark, broke $90 per barrel as it jumped more than 6% to its highest level since April 2024.The move in prices came amid growing fears that the could lead to long-term energy supply issues.
