SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Levi Strauss & Co. (LEVI) announced today the pricing of $500 million of its 5.00% senior notes due 2025 at a price of 100.50% of the principal amount of the notes, plus accrued interest from November 1, 2019, to the closing date, in a private placement conducted pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. The sale of the notes is expected to close on April 17, 2020. The notes are part of a series of 5.00% senior notes due 2025 issued by the company on April 27, 2015. Upon completion of the offering, the aggregate principal amount of the series of 5.00% senior notes due 2025 that will be outstanding will be $1 billion.The company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes and to pay fees and expenses related to the offering.The notes have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or any state securities laws, and unless so registered, may not be of
