The holiday season is in full swing, and with December around the corner, what better way to count down to Christmas than with Advent calendars , specifically beauty ones. While it is not known who the exact person behind the concept was, the tradition of marking the days until Christmas likely started in 19th-century Germany, according to Sky History In recent years, advent calendars have gained even more popularity as people enjoy the surprises that come with it. Traditional Advent calendars usually feature chocolates, wine, cookies or ornaments, but as of late, beauty brands have also been hopping onto the bandwagon to treat their customers.
