A recent survey found that one in three California men are considering more budget-friendly proposal venues due to rising costs. Chick-fil-A was overwhelmingly chosen by California men as the top fast-food chain to propose in. Other top choices for a fast-food proposal included Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, and McDonald's. A separate poll of women revealed that nearly half would find a fast-food proposal funny and memorable, with only 22% describing it as unromantic. Weddings and proposals are getting a budget-friendly rethink this season, swapping candlelit dinners for proposals over fries and a fountain drink. A survey conducted by social casino ACE.com found that one in three California men admits that rising dining costs make them more likely to consider a fast food venue for proposals and weddings. Proposals are less about spending big and more about choosing a setting where both partners feel comfortable, and that a relaxed environment can take the pressure off
