Morgan Stanley Shifts Narrative To Bullish Summary Morgan Stanley did not deliver a stellar quarter, but the results were good enough to ease concerns born of a turbulent 4Q18. Banking and trading continued to spin their wheels, but the crucial wealth management business showed encouraging signs of resilience. I now see Morgan Stanley as a compelling yet inexpensive stock to own in the financial services sector. It certainly wasn't a slam dunk.
