I bought the dip, and planning to add more as the Microsoft (MSFT) share price tanks. It is my view that the selloff has nothing to do with the fundamentals of the company. I see two reasons pressuring shares, both of the irrational, in my view. First, given that 45% of RPO comes from OpenAI, MSFT stock is now a beta around the pessimism that surrounds this startup, especially in the last week. Second, the market is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Microsoft is part of the software infrastructure industry, which is dragging down tech.
