The first swing of the season will once again feature three tournaments staged in Florida, though the kickoff event will not be in Central Florida, as it has been for many years. Instead, the Atlantic Beach Classic will gets things started on the northeast coast March 5-7 at Atlantic Beach Country Club. The tour will then head down to Longwood, Florida, near Orlando, for the IOA Golf Classic before heading to Lakeland, Florida, for the inaugural Orlando Health Championship at Grasslands Golf and Country Club. Lakeland first hosted an Epson Tour event (formerly Futures Tour) in 1997 with the Lakeland Futures Classic at The Club at Eaglebrooke. Grasslands previously hosted an event on the Nike/Web.com Tours. The Orlando Health Championship, which replaces the longstanding Winter Haven stop, will feature a $250,000 purse. A second new event – The Smokey Mountain Championship – will take place Aug. 6-8 in Alcoa, Tennessee. This marks the tour's first stop in the area since the Chat
