People are ditching cable and satellite more than ever, not only because streaming offers a more convenient way to watch content, but also due to the expense. More and more Americans are tightening their wallets. If they are reducing their spending on essential things, including food, they are definitely trying to save on nonessential expenses, such as entertainment. In fact, nearly 64% of cord-cutters dropped a streaming service in the past year due to rising costs or switched to a cheaper or ad-supported plan, according to a report by All About Cookies Streaming platforms aren't necessarily cheaper, but many offer more affordable options, such as special bundles, genre-specific packages, or ad-supported plans, with some providing deals for new subscribers. One of the key streaming platforms offers a special deal to attract new subscribers. Major streaming giants often offer their best deals and promotions around the holidays, especially for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
