Nissan has announced a new in-car audio system that adjusts sounds based on a driver's unique hearing patterns. A car's audio system is one of the most important features and quality can vary between different automakers. Nissan plans to add its new feature, called Personalized Sound, in select Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. The settings can be customized on the center infotainment screen to accommodate multiple user profiles for in-vehicle sound and Bluetooth music apps. Nissan, which released the new system on Dec. 15, says it's the first of its kind in the U.S. auto industry. How does it work? As complicated as an audio system that adjusts to your own hearing may sound, Nissan says it's easy to set up and should take around three minutes. You first download the Personalized Sound app on the Google Play store in your Nissan or Infiniti vehicle.
