lawsuits against companies seeking approval for generics targeted at its lead product Caplyta. In an SEC filing late Monday, Intra-Cellular ( ITCI ) said that, it sued seven such manufacturers including Dr. Reddy's Laboratories ( RDY ), Novartis's ( NVS OTCPK:NVSEF ) generic spinoff, Sandoz ( OTCQX:SDZNY OTCQX:SDZXF ) in the final week of March. The lawsuits filed in a New Jersey federal court seek a stay order against a potential FDA approval of the companies' abbreviated new drug applications filed for Caplyta generics. A treatment indicated for schizophrenia and bipolar depression in the U.S., Caplyta, being its only product, added $462.2M in net sales for Intra-Cellular ( ITCI ) in 2023 with ~86% YoY growth.
