In an interview with , Mobileye's Nimrod Nehushtan, executive vice president of business strategy and development, said that “the company is selling the EyeQ6 Lite in all major markets around the world, and cars with the technology will be launched in the middle of this year.” "The 46 million represents the amount of EyeQ6 Lite (business) that we have won to date," Nehushtan added. Customer identities were not disclosed. Mobileye ( MBLY ) counts Volkswagen ( OTCPK:VWAGY ) and Porsche ( OTCPK:POAHY ) among its customers. Shares of the company rose as much as premarket Mobileye ( MBLY ) touted EyeQ6 as its most advanced driver-assistance chip yet when it was rolled out in 2022. EyeQ6L (or “Lite”) is said to offer 4.5 times more computing horsepower compared with its prior generation and can support all core advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
