La gran fiesta se iniciará en la tarde con Gucci, símbolo de esta recesión: su propietario, el grupo francés de lujo Kering, anunció hace 15 días el hundimiento de su beneficio en 2024, afectado por la baja drástica de 23% en las ventas de su marca principal, con dificultades desde hace varios años. La salida de su director artístico Sabato de Sarno el 6 de febrero, tras solo dos años en el cargo y veinte días antes de su desfile, causó un efecto explosivo. "La fase de transición terminó. Ahora estamos en la fase de reanudación", que "pasa por una nueva dirección artística", afirmó el PDG del grupo Kering, François-Henri Pinault, durante la presentación de los resultados anuales, sin revelar quien sucederá a Sabato de Sarno.
