Qantas has worked with cybersecurity authorities, increased data protection, monitored the situation, and obtained a court injunction to prevent further distribution of stolen data. Qantas's breach is part of a broader national pattern of escalating cyberattacks, comparable to past major breaches at Optus, Medibank, and MediSecure, with a record number of incidents recently reported.
