Renk Rides Europe's Defense Boom, but Investors Want More - Moby THE GIST Germany's defense spending boom has turned once obscure suppliers into market stars. Renk, the drivetrain specialist behind many of Europe's armored vehicles and naval systems, just delivered another year of rapid growth. Yet even strong numbers were not enough to keep investors satisfied. WHAT HAPPENED German defense supplier Renk reported a sharp rise in revenue and orders for fiscal year 2025, underscoring the powerful demand wave sweeping through Europe's military supply chain. The Augsburg-based manufacturer generated €1.37 billion (about $1.6 billion) in revenue, up 19.8% from the previous year. Adjusted operating profit also expanded, climbing more than 21% to €230 million as the company benefited from strong defense demand and improved margins.
